Founding Engineer - Devices

About the Role

As a Founding Engineer (Devices), you will be responsible for bringing Quantum Insider's intelligence to the physical world. You will work on prototyping and integrating our voice and secure fintech capabilities into custom hardware and edge devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype hardware integrations for voice processing modules.
• Select and validate components (microphones, DSPs, secure elements) for specialized devices.
• Develop drivers and board support packages (BSPs) for custom PCBs.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers to optimize system performance.
• Manage relationships with manufacturing partners and component vendors.

Requirements

• Experience with PCB design (Altium, KiCad) and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of audio hardware architectures and secure hardware elements (SE/TPM).
• Familiarity with firmware development in C/C++.
• Ability to debug hardware issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Experience taking a hardware product from concept to small-batch production.
