About the Role
We are looking for an API Engineer to design and scale the interfaces that power Quantum Insider's platform. You will build high-performance, developer-friendly APIs that expose our voice and fintech capabilities to the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful and gRPC APIs for external and internal consumption.
- Ensure API security, rate limiting, and authentication (OAuth2, API Keys).
- Optimize API latency and throughput for high-volume traffic.
- Generate comprehensive documentation and SDKs for developer adoption.
- collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to define data requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in backend languages like Go, Rust, or Node.js.
- Experience designing and versioning public-facing APIs.
- Familiarity with API gateways (Kong, Tyk) and service mesh technologies.
- Understanding of HTTP/2, WebSockets, and real-time communication patterns.
- Passion for developer experience (DX) and writing clean, self-documenting code.
